Classes are English spoken, Basic English knowledge required!

The Trainings courses have been designed primarily for teachers and future teachers,
but they are as well open for all dancers who like to deepen and widen her knowledge and skillness in this art of dance.

3 one week courses (modules) over 1- 2 years plus the 3 days exam incl. graduation show

Training Topics

The training classes are containing

  • Dance -history, -technique, -theory, -styles
  • Music -history, -instruments, -rhythm, -analysis
  • Dance education and pedagogy
  • Exercises and preparation for dancing, performing, improvisation
  • Educational dances
    and
  • around 15 choreographies in classical and/or modern and/or folkloric Oriental Dance


Certification

The certificate will be handing over after successfully completing the teacher and dancer training program and the successfully passing the exam with oral and written, teaching practise, presentation of a research paper and the graduation show

Through the modular system of the trainings course, it is possible to follow the teacher trainings course in Europe and to do graduation in Cairo or vice-versa
